ABOUT Jujuu

The whole story.

From OUr Hands to our World

The Jujuu Story

Jujuu was found on the belief that consumers want to buy good products from good companies that do good in the community. To help consumers find the makers they want to buy from, we created Jujuu.

People

Our people are our everything. We honor them by featuring goods handcrafted with love and supporting those making a difference in the communities they cherish.

Product

Our products are our passion. Each Jujuu box is carefully curated to provide unique, high quality, ethically-produced gifts that wow.

Cause

'Cause we're all in this together. And together, we can work to eradicate homelessness, provide meaningful employment, and more.

November 2016

Jujuu was born

Jujuu was born. The presidential election brought with it a growing sense of divide and negativity, and inspired us to found Jujuu. The mission was simple: to celebrate and support our community through "goods that do good."

February 2017

hidden figures

As we contemplated how to best pursue our mission, we set a simple goal to send school children to watch the inspiring, true story of black women NASA scientists in the 1960s. The support was overwhelming, resulting in 4,000 kids seeing the movie, a regional essay contest, and thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes awarded.

March 2017

The BetaBlox grind

Jujuu was accepted to a rigorous incubator/accelerator program, BetaBlox. Under the leadership of Wes Bergmann, starting a start-up became a reality!

August 2017

The Mine partnership

The social innovation fellowship selected Jujuu as a project, allowing us to work with 5 highly-driven and intelligent fellows through the summer of 2018. The goal: position Jujuu for long-term success.

November 2017

Kiva collab

The widely-recognized crowdfunding platform was introduced in Tulsa, with Jujuu being one of its first participants. We were fully funded in less than one week!

September 2018
